Annual Mount Clemens Ice Carving Show

January 31 – February 1, 2026

The Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority will be producing the annual Mount Clemens Ice Carving Show on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, 2026. Live ice carving will go on throughout the show.

Last year’s show had over 70 sculptures. With your partnership, we can continue to expand this popular wintertime event for our community and make it the best show yet.

We hope that you will continue to support this great outdoor winter tradition that brings new visitors and future shoppers into our Downtown. Businesses, property owners, retail stores, and even individuals are encouraged to be sponsors. For $350 each participant will have a sculpture professionally carved. This fee will cover all of the expenses that are related to the Mount Clemens Ice Carving Show including:

  • Ice Sculpture (original block of ice before carving measures 10” X 20” X 40”)
  • Stand to hold the Sculpture with special lighting underneath the ice
  • Event Advertising
  • Press Releases sent out to all Metro Detroit media outlets
  • Signage Listing Sponsor of Ice Sculpture and a location map
  • Printed Listings of Ice Sculpture Sponsors

Additional blocks of ice to create larger ice sculptures may be purchased for $250 each.

The ice sculptures will be congregated in the vicinity of Macomb Place and the Cherry Street Mall. Maps of the Downtown showing where each sculpture is located will be available in all the Downtown businesses.

Checks must be received by the event registration deadline on Friday, January 23, 2026 to ensure the ordering of the ice. Mail form and check to: Mount Clemens DDA, One Crocker Blvd., Mount Clemens, MI 48043. For more information, contact Micki Weiss at: 586.431.6788 or the DDA office at: 586.469.4168

Please indicate if you want a specific design for your ice sculpture. The sculptors recommend “Sculptor’s Choice” as it allows for a variety of interesting and family friendly sculptures to be created.

If No, please describe your business or provide a description of what is desired

To support live ice carving throughout the festival, we are willing to have our sculpture to be carved on Saturday.

*All ice sculptures carved on Saturday January 31st will be installed by 4 PM.
